Medical, Safety & HSE Coverage Across the Houston Metro

Medical and safety coverage for Houston, Texas — from Ship Channel plants to crews offshore.

Two different jobs share one metro. Plants along the Ship Channel need clinics staffed through turnaround season and contractor crews cleared before they reach the gate. Houston-based operators need medics and safety personnel on Gulf assets a hundred miles out. On Site covers both, with credentialed people on site and physicians reachable behind them.

  • stethoscope Physician-led oversight
  • schedule 24/7 response
  • badge Turnaround surge capacity
  • verified Prequalification-ready records
What we do

What we cover across the metro.

Buy one service or the whole thing. Most Houston operators start with whatever is failing right now, usually clinic staffing before a turnaround or medical clearance for a contractor crew, then add scope once the reporting starts earning its keep. Every service below carries its own governance and its own documentation trail.

Why On Site

Houston is two markets. Most vendors only serve one.

An On Site medic performs an on-site health assessment

Along the Ship Channel the work is plant-side. Refineries and petrochemical plants running from Baytown down to Texas City, with Pasadena, Deer Park, and La Porte in between. Headcount swings with the turnaround calendar, the contractor population rotates between sites, and the recordable rate on your log gets read by every client scoring your prequalification file.

North and west of that, along the Sam Houston Tollway, the work is contractual. Operators, drilling contractors, and subsea firms sign scopes covering assets sitting a hundred miles out in the Gulf. On Site has worked both sides since 1998. Same credentialing standard, same physician oversight, one reporting format, whether the crew is inside a fence line or on a deck.

Clinical Governance

What governs the people we put on your site.

Every placement works under written standing orders that define what they can treat and when they escalate. A physician is reachable at any hour to authorize treatment or make the call to send someone out. Credentials are tracked against the scope the person was hired for. Cases get charted the day they happen, so the record is already sitting there when an auditor asks. That last part is what separates a documented program from a staffing invoice.

  • check_circleStanding orders written per site and per scope
  • check_circleA physician reachable at any hour, nights and turnarounds included
  • check_circleCredentials tracked against the job the person was hired for
  • check_circleCase review on a fixed cadence
  • check_circleRecordability calls made against the written standard
  • check_circleReporting your client's prequalification review will accept
Careers

We hire people who have worked a gate.

Houston work is shift work. Turnaround season, night coverage, a contractor gate at five in the morning. We're building a bench of medics, occupational health clinicians, and HSE personnel who can hold standards steady when the schedule doesn't cooperate. If that's your kind of work, talk to us.

Start somewhere

Tell us which site, and what isn't working.

Send us the facility, the headcount, and the date something has to be covered. We'll come back with who we'd put there, what governs them, and what it costs. Most Houston conversations start with one gap and grow from there, so there's no obligation to take the whole program on the first call.
