Pharma-Safe is now On Site Medical & Safety.
The name changed in 2026. The organization you trust did not.

Why We Changed Our Name
When Pharma-Safe was established in 1998, the name made sense. Our roots were in medical supplies, and the name reflected the company we were building at the time. Ken Dugas ran the warehouse out of his garage while Lanis Belaire hit the road building relationships. Before long, they had grown the business to serve more than 350 oil and gas customers, providing dependable medical supplies to the industry at a reasonable price.
It was a pretty simple business model, and it worked. What nobody could have known at the time was how far the company would eventually grow beyond it.
Over the years, medical supplies led to medical personnel, and our work expanded deeper into offshore, remote and industrial operations. We added HSE professionals and logistics support, and more recently expanded into occupational medicine, Corporate Medical Direction, Topsides Medical Control, case management and clinical governance. Much of that evolution happened because our clients brought us new problems and gave us opportunities to help solve them.
By early 2026, something had become pretty obvious. The company had changed, but the name hadn't kept up.
If you didn't already know us, Pharma-Safe Industrial Services didn't do a very good job of explaining what we had become. Some people assumed we were a pharmaceutical or medical-supply company. Others knew us primarily as an offshore medic company. We're proud of both parts of our history, but neither described the whole company anymore.
When we began looking for a new name, we kept coming back to where we created the most value: on site, alongside the people doing the work. That's where our medical and HSE professionals work with our clients, where an employee needs medical guidance, where a hazard gets recognized, and where an emergency plan eventually has to work in the real world.
On Site Medical & Safety says where we are and what we do. Just as importantly, it gives us room to continue evolving.
Today, we can provide an individual medic or HSE professional, but our goal is much broader than filling a position. We want to become an extension of our clients' medical, HSE and operational teams, connecting great people in the field with physician support, occupational medicine, clinical governance and the other resources needed to provide value every day.
Changing the name wasn't about leaving Pharma-Safe behind. That name represents nearly three decades of work, thousands of deployments, long-standing client relationships, great employees and plenty of lessons learned. Pharma-Safe Industrial Services remains our legal business entity, and our ownership, leadership, contracts and commitments didn't change when we adopted On Site Medical & Safety as our trade name.
If you worked with Pharma-Safe, you've already worked with On Site Medical & Safety. We simply needed a name that better represented the company our clients helped us become and where we're going next.
The company had already changed. It was time for the name to catch up.
